What Should Be Considered When Choosing a Modem?

When choosing a modem, the first consideration should be whether it supports the internet infrastructure being used. In addition, connection speed, supported technologies, and the network features required should also be evaluated.

For example, a device compatible with fiber infrastructure should be chosen for a fiber internet connection. For combined devices such as modem-routers, wireless connectivity features and supported standards can also be taken into consideration.
