Cloud Engineer

Description
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to global customers using HUAWEI Cloud services. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of cloud services. You will work closely with both customers and internal Cloud teams.

This position offers an opportunity to work on rapidly growing cloud platforms while developing expertise in cloud operations. Through this role, you will gain in-depth knowledge of HUAWEI Cloud services, widely used across the globe.

This role requires on site project support at different countries. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud services, with a strategic mindset and the ability to work across multiple platforms and systems.

Requirements

• 4 years of Cloud Technology Experience
• Candidate must have migration project experience Cloud to Cloud(AWS, GCP, Azure) or on-prem to Cloud
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues to enhance product reliability.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and reliability teams to diagnose and solve cloud-related problems.
• Work with the technical support team to handle escalations and ensure timely incident resolution.
• Summarize and create technical documentation, experience sharing, demos, and reference cases related to cloud services.
• Conduct enablement training for customers, helping them adopt and utilize HUAWEI Cloud services efficiently.
• Maintain effective communication with global HQ teams and other stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call rotations, responding to incidents and addressing issues promptly.
• Provide technical consulting and support for HUAWEI Cloud services.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with cloud deployment and migration between different vendors.
• Experience with various cloud models (Public, Private, Hybrid).
• Basic knowledge of general cloud concepts, including HUAWEI Cloud, IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with different architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems, including experience with different Linux distros.
• Experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Experience or knowledge of includes SQL and NoSQL database systems
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD process
