IT Operator

Role Description
We are looking for an IT Operator to take part in Şişecam Headquarters located in Tuzla / Istanbul. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Graduated from departments within faculties that include computer/industrial/electronics/mathematics engineering or from two-year vocational schools such as Industrial Automation Technology / Electrical-Electronics Technology / Computer Operation and Technology / Computer Hardware.
• Preferably holds ISO 27001 and ITIL v4 Foundation certificates.
• Proficient in English, preferably with knowledge of Russian.
• No travel restrictions and holds a Class B driver's license.
• Job Description: Responsible for monitoring, operating, and providing operational support for Şişecam Group's Information Technology and Communication environments within Turkey and abroad, 24/7.
• Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages patching of servers and end-user computers.
• Distributes software to servers and end-user computers via Microsoft SCCM in accordance with Şişecam standards and procedures.
• Maintains inventory records of physical and virtual servers and all IT assets in system rooms. Tracks licenses and maintenance agreements for IT Operations Management.
• Performs data backup, archiving, and restoration operations, and conducts recovery tests. Monitors these operations and reports regularly.
• Takes necessary actions to address vulnerabilities identified through tests such as vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
• Provides information and documents requested by internal and external audits and takes necessary actions.
• Fulfills assigned tasks within IT/OT projects.
• Monitors server environments (hardware, software, system rooms, etc.) regularly 24/7 with appropriate tools.
• Ensures the operation of IT/OT (Operational Technology) server environments 24/7 and resolves identified issues.
• Manages the infrastructure of system rooms (fire suppression system, climate control, physical security, uninterruptible power supply, etc.).
• Ensures efficient use of IT resources within the scope of duties and conducts resource-saving activities, making necessary recommendations.
• Utilizes the IT Asset pool most effectively, identifies and recommends products and quantities that should be in the pool, and updates pool information.
• Process Duties and Responsibilities:
• Fulfills roles, duties, and responsibilities defined within the scope of current IT processes.
• Analyzes change records as required by the IT Change Management process and manages change meetings.
• Performs assigned tasks related to ITIL Incident Management, Request Management, Event Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Asset Management processes. Acts as a bridge between Şişecam Information Technology L2 and L3 support teams. Identifies and recommends solutions for process-related issues.
