PeK Automotive is an innovative Slovenian company, established in 2019, dedicated to developing and manufacturing purpose-built low-voltage electric vehicles for the agriculture, rescue and defense sectors. In addition to our core vehicle technologies, we are expanding into enterprise software with the creation of a specialized ERP system designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies.

As we move toward launching this system internationally, we’re looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our growing development team.

The position is based on Turkey and the candidates are expected to work remotely with our IT Development Department in Slovenia.

Responsibilities:

•       Support, development and optimization of the ERP project;

•       Designing data models and improving existing schema architecture;

•       Development of new functionality and improvement of the existing one;

•       Participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation;

•       Refactoring legacy business logic into clean, maintainable services.

 Requirements:

•       3+ years of professional Python experience;

•       Django and Django REST Framework (DRF) experience;

•       Experience writing unit and integration tests (e.g., pytest, factory_boy);

•       Experience with REST API;

•       Strong SQL skills, especially with PostgreSQL;

•       Understanding of ERP systems and business data flows;

•       Familiarity with Celery, Redis, and background tasks;

•       Experience working with Git and collaborative workflows;

•       Clear understanding of clean code principles and common design patterns;

•       Experience with high-load systems and performance tuning (DB + backend);

•       Knowledge of English at a conversational level and reading technical documentation.
