We are looking for an innovative Satellite IoT Product Engineer to design and implement advanced satellite-based IoT solutions leveraging standard communication technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for developing scalable, reliable, and secure IoT systems that connect devices via satellite networks in remote or challenging environments. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide technical solutions that integrate satellite and terrestrial IoT technologies, optimizing connectivity and data transmission.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and tailor IoT solutions to specific use cases,
• Design and implement end-to-end satellite-based IoT solutions, including device connectivity, data acquisition, and integration with backend systems,
• Provide technical leadership and support to the design team throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to deployment,
• Ensure compliance with IoT and satellite communication standards and best practices,
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the deployment and operation of satellite-based IoT solutions,
• Document solution designs, implementation processes, and provide training to end-users and support teams.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging IoT technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our satellite-based IoT offerings.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field,
• At least 3 years of experience in product development and deployment,
• Deep understanding of system engineering standards, processes, methods, and tools,
• Ability to manage project schedule and work effectively in a fast-paced environment,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail,
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of IoT architectures and communication protocols (e.g., LoRa, Zigbee, NB-IoT),
• Expertise in satellite communication systems and protocols (e.g. CCSDS),
• Having knowledge about 3GPP and LoRaWAN standards,
• Having knowledge and experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE).
