We provide services such as design and implementation of measurement campaigns, micro siting, energy yield assessment, site suitability reviews, power curve verifications, asset performance review and improvement by the analysis of SCADA data. Our goal is to optimize the value of the renewable energy assets by collecting the data with low uncertainties and analysing it by following state of the art methodologies. We provide services to a wide range of clients, from financial institutions to investors, from turbine manufacturers to project developers.

Role Overview

USENS Energy Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Supervisor to manage and lead the planning, coordination, and monitoring of the manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of meteorological masts. This full-time, on-site role involves driving process improvements, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Project & Workflow Management

Develop, monitor, and adjust comprehensive project plans and schedules in line with customer contracts and specifications.

Maintain an up-to-date project calendar and coordinate regular project and production planning meetings.

• Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead, mentor, and supervise field teams and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and seamless collaboration.

Intervene proactively when challenges arise to keep the project on track.

• Manufacturing, Procurement & Stock Control

Oversee the manufacturing and procurement processes for steel meteorological mast construction.

Manage production planning and stock tracking, including quarterly reviews of stock reports.

Update and provide work instructions for the measurement units, ensuring adherence to compliance regulations.

• Technical Innovation & Process Improvement

Drive continuous improvement in technical processes and technological infrastructure.

Lead R&D initiatives and service development studies, preparing feasibility reports for innovative solutions.

• Performance Management & Reporting

Monitor project progress against set performance metrics, identifying risks and opportunities.

Compile end-of-period reports evaluating performance, measurement objectives, and process risks; present findings to senior management.

• Health & Safety Alignment

Take responsibility for aligning the department’s processes and practices with current Health & Safety requirements.

Regularly review and update H&S protocols to ensure all operations meet both internal and regulatory safety standards.

Conduct H&S audits and training sessions, ensuring that all team members understand and adhere to these practices.

• Human Resources & Training

Deliver technical and operational training to team members.

Oversee HR-related tasks such as performance evaluations, leave approvals, and recruitment (in collaboration with HR), including initial candidate screening and interviews.

Qualifications

• Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or project management role, preferably within the energy, construction, or related sectors.

• Education:

A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

• Skills & Attributes:

Proven leadership capabilities with strong team management and interpersonal skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Familiarity with modern project management tools and techniques.

A proactive approach to process improvement and technological adaptation.
