We are looking for an IT Operations trainee to join our IT Services team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting abilities,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal),
- Strong ability to analyze systems across various IT disciplines,
- Ability to design and deploy sustainable and scalable technology solutions,
- Proficiency in time management, project scheduling, and meeting deadlines,
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
The position requires extensive experience in:
- Windows 10 installation, support, and troubleshooting,
- Windows Server installation, support, and administration,
- Windows Active Directory administration,
- Office 365 and Exchange Online administration,
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2013/2016 administration,
- Service Desk administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support and respond to service tickets,
- Respond to client system outages and coordinate resolution efforts,
- Coordinate on-site visits as needed for system troubleshooting and new system setup,
- Update technical documentation when required,
- Respond to user emails within established timeframes.
AREAS OF FOCUS
- Collaborate with all IT function teams to ensure maximum effectiveness in troubleshooting,
- Ensure standard procedures are followed for troubleshooting and triage of all client technical issues,
- Provide regular status updates to the IT Manager and team members,
- Communicate effectively within the IT organization and with clients, both verbally and in writing.
