Acelerex is an independent consultant and software maker in the power sector. We are a leading provider of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), EMS (Energy Management System), DAS (Data Acquisition Systems) and Power Control technologies and solutions.
We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack IOT Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling various aspects of software development, deployment and testing, implementation, documentation, and project planning.
Job Description:
As a Full Stack IOT Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing the functionality and user experience of our software solutions. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement integrations with IOT applications.
We are looking for a programmer with one to five years of experience in the following:
Technologies:
- JavaScript and TypeScript
- C++ or object-oriented languages
- vue.js
- node.js
- feathers.js
- Linux operating systems
- RESTful API's
- Database technologies
- Python
- Others
Qualifications:
- Preferred MS in Computer Science or BS in Computer Science
- Experience in:
- Distributed monitoring & control
- Distributed IOT systems
- Centralized / Cloud data collection systems
- Site control systems
- Communication systems (i.e., TCP/IP, transmission control protocol, Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA, and others.)
- Familiarity with networking and routers
- Real-time database technologies
- A relevant portfolio of university projects can count for 1 year of experience
Preferred skills:
- Object orientation programming
- APIs
- Designing database schema and indices
- JavaScript and TypeScript
- Structuring software technology stacks
- Developing micro services
- Binding C++ control algorithms
Location and Start Date:
