Position: Software Developer

Location: Bilkent, Ankara, Turkey

Type: Full-Time, On-Site (Hybrid TBD after Probation)

Job Description:

As a Software Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our healthcare software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of our software into healthcare systems, contributing to the enhancement of patient care, data security, and overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for healthcare technology, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and fellow developers to design and implement software solutions for the healthcare industry.
• Develop and maintain codebase, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and promote best practices.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and address software defects.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to contribute innovative ideas for software improvement.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in healthcare or health insurance domain.
• Experience in working in highly regulated environments with sensitive information is a plus.
• Expertise in Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.
• Strong foundation and experience in web frameworks and open-source technologies such as React, Angular, HTML, JavaScript, and JQuery.
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns along with familiarity with software development standards and best practices.
• Experience with database management systems, database design and SQL usage experience, preferably with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL.
• Good knowledge and experience in DevOps and proficiency with version control systems, especially Git and GitHub.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles, UX design, and user experience best practices is a huge plus.
