IDEAL PROFILE

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Electrical and Electronics Engineering,
• At least 3 years of professional experience in similar positions in Media and Television,
• Excellent English communication and writing skills,
• Broadcast – IT Applications and Servers (Avid PAM, Vizrt Graphics System, Orad Graphics System, ISOFT- SmartPLAY Broadcast Media Playout, Imagine Video Server, etc.,
• Windows operating system, Linux operating system, SQL Database, VMware VCP, Centos, Kubernetes, CCNP/CCNA experience.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Installation and management of existing or new broadcast IT system platforms,
• Monitoring, logging, reporting the systems and ensuring necessary improvements,
• Provide support for the systems to be able to work in business continuity environment,
• Supporting user request and resolving issues,
• Follow security best practices to ensure integrity of information security procedures, systems, and policies,
• Maximize network performance through proactive network design and monitoring,
• Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations,
• All-round knowledge of supporting production studio systems and hardware,
• In-depth knowledge of file based newsroom production systems,
• Able to read schematics and technical manuals and have up-to-date technical and operational knowledge of all the resources within his specialism,
• Understanding of both the production and technical aspects of broadcasting.
