We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT SPECIALIST  to provide on-site technical support, maintain local IT infrastructure, and ensure that all systems operate efficiently and securely for our Kocaeli / Izmit plant.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge & Education

• Higher education degree in Information Technology, Computer Programming, Computer Technologies or a related field,
• Have min. 1-2 years of experience in technical support,
• Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking),
• Windows operating system, Microsoft 365: Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive,
• Knowledge of networks, systems, and/or workstation environments. Basic networking: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi,
• Familiarity with industry-relevant software Preferred: basic SAP
• Knowledge of leading IT tools, hardware, and software providers. Installation and support of hardware (desktops, laptops, printers),
• Additional Valued Knowledge: Microsoft Intune or other MDM tools, Active Directory (basic)
• Knowledge of internet technologies, including protocols and security standards,
• Ability to analyze IT risks and assess impacts related to changes or updates.
• Strong interest in hands-on, on-site technical work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Respect for confidentiality at all times.
• Living/willing to live in Kocaeli (shuttle available for İzmit, Başiskele, Gölcük, Derince, Kartepe area),

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain and monitor infrastructure components (networks, telephony, systems and workstations, etc.)
• Monitor all events in production environments (PLCs, weighing systems, etc.), detect, process and escalate alarms/alerts if necessary
• Provide support for user requests, incidents, and changes; escalate unresolved issues to Group IT when required.
• Install or supervise the installation and configuration of infrastructure and industrial components in alignment with defined procedures.
• Test hardware and software during installation or modification activities under Group IT guidance.
• Write and update documentation describing locally installed infrastructure and solutions
• Propose improvements to the settings and processes for managing IT environments
• Collect local user requirements to support IT budgeting activities.
• Report IT malfunctions or difficulties to Group IT and notify management as needed.
• Log interventions in the dedicated system and keep service indicators up to date.
• Adhere to safety guidelines for oneself and third parties.
