Application Security Engineer

The Information Security Department at Yandex handles security for all our products. We’re looking for an Application Security Engineer who will be in charge of application security for a number of our services.

Tasks that await you

• Join projects advancing Yandex products as an information security expert
• Work with developers and product/service managers to build a software development life cycle
• Analyze security for existing products
• Provide expertise in secure programming
• Help with research

We expect that you

• Are passionate about building secure app development life cycles and analyzing code security
• Have expertise in web application security and are familiar with how applications are built and work
• Understand *nix and containerization systems
• Understand basic network technologies and protocols
• Have experience automating work with Golang or Python
• Have 2+ years of related experience
