Developer Engineer

We are seeking a Developer Engineer for Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation division Kocaeli Factory. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet project and contractual requirements. Your work will enhance the tools and applications used within the electrical engineering department, ensuring efficient workflows and robust performance. You will also ensure that all development activities adhere to SI EA O standards and processes, delivering reliable, cost-effective software solutions.  

What are my responsibilities?  

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications within design software to support and improve design processes and workflows in the electrical engineering department. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, increasing productivity and efficiency within the design software environment. 
• Design, test, and document solutions in VBA or C# that integrate seamlessly with existing software tools, including Engineering Base as applicable, with a focus on reliability and stability. 
• Perform quality assurance on software applications to ensure high functionality and dependability. 
• Stay informed about industry trends and updates related to software design and associated technologies, sharing insights and improvements with the team. 
• Actively contribute to solving complex design and workflow problems, proposing and implementing efficient technical solutions within design software. 

What do I need to qualify for this job?  

• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail and a focus on design software applications. 
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field, in addition preferably Electrical and Electronic Engineering. 
• 2+ years of experience in a similar development role, ideally with exposure to design software like Engineering Base. 
• Proficiency in VBA or C# for application development and MS SQL for data management. 
• Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and optimize workflows and technical issues within design software. 
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and global stakeholders in software-related projects. 
• Very good command of English, and in addition preferably German 

Reason for Preference  

• Proven track record in collaborating with teams to enhance design processes and meet technical needs through software tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and quality assurance testing, showcasing adaptability and a detail-oriented approach. 

What else do I need to know? 

• Male candidates should have completed the military service requirements.
• Driving license is required
