Machine Learning Engineer

Job Brief:

Target Energy Solutions is hiring Machine Learning (ML) Engineers to help us create artificial intelligence products. To succeed in this job, the candidate needs skills in pattern recognition, machine learning, programming, data sciences and software engineering. There may be some cross-over with other disciplines including computational statistics, mathematical optimization, data mining, exploratory data analysis, predictive analytics, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement machine learning systems
• Develop machine learning applications according to requirements
• Apply machine learning algorithms and libraries 
• Design algorithms based on statistical modeling procedures and build / maintain scalable machine learning solutions
• Understand and use computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, complexity and software architecture 
• Use mathematical skills in order to perform computations and work with the algorithms involved in this type of programming 
• Produce project outcomes and isolate the issues that need to be resolved, in order to make programs more effective 
• Collaborate with data engineers to build data and model pipelines 
• Manage the infrastructure and data pipelines needed to bring code to action 
• Use data modeling and evaluation strategies to find patterns and predict unforeseen instances 
• Analyze large and complex datasets to extract insights and decide on the appropriate techniques
• Research and implement best practices to improve the existing machine learning infrastructures 

Skills:

• Skills and experience as a Machine Learning Engineer 
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture  Knowledge in math, probability, statistics and algorithms 
• Ability to write robust code in python 
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn. 
• Experience using libraries such as OpenCV and TensorFlow will be required.
• Ability to work in a team 
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills 
• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering; 
•  Master’s or PhD degree is an advantage, but not a must. 
• Fluent English 
• Following abilities are required: QT , OpenCV , C++ or Python

Working Conditions and Salary:

Workplace is in CoZone, ODTUTEKNOKENT facility in Ankara, Turkey. We offer a competitive package with the potential to travel to and work in other international locations in Europe and the Middle East. The package includes private health insurance, food and transportation allowances. Working hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through to Friday, with one-hour break for lunch. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, remote working will be required.
