Network Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, or a related field,
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience,
• Knowledgeable in LAN, WAN, WLAN, MPLS, VPN, and NAC technologies,
• Experienced in installation, configuration, and management of Cisco core and edge switches and access point devices,
• Preferably experienced in Cisco ISE / NAC systems configuration and administration,
• Preferably experienced in configuring and managing firewall systems such as Fortinet, CheckPoint, or Palo Alto,
• Familiar with Local Area Network protocols (VLANs, MST, VTP, dot1Q, 802.1x, Multicast, etc.),
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.),
• Knowledgeable in network access security protocols and technologies (AAA, ACL, DHCP Snooping, Port Security, IPsec, etc.),
• Hands-on experience in managing firewall rules and security policies,
• Proficient in monitoring, logging, and network performance analysis tools and protocols (Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, OpManager, etc.),
• Preferably certified (Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE, Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP or higher),
• Preferably experienced with Endpoint Security solutions (EDR, XDR, Proxy, DLP, etc.),
• Good command of English,
• Strong team player with analytical thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills,
• Open to learning new technologies, with solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities,
• Experienced in documentation and reporting related to IT processes.

 Job Description

• Troubleshoot and resolve network system issues and failures,
• Perform maintenance, updates, and repairs of network hardware and software,
• Analyze and resolve network problems to ensure business continuity,
• Plan and execute network improvement and renewal projects,
• Keep systems within responsibility up to date in terms of cybersecurity and information security; take action based on identified risks,
• Support Information Security Management System (ISMS) processes and contribute to ISO 27001 compliance,
• Monitor network security threats, take preventive measures, and report accordingly,
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues,
• Plan and manage network infrastructure to ensure continuity in backup, disaster recovery, and accessibility,
• Follow up on new technologies and industry trends and adapt them to the existing infrastructure,
• Prepare and maintain up-to-date technical documentation related to network topology.
