QA Tester - Intern

PlusMinusOne is a mobile startup studio that focuses on developing and marketing its own apps that are used and loved by millions of people around the world. Our products collectively reach more than a half-million new users every month in the US market alone. We are a hybrid startup with offices in San Francisco, Istanbul and Ankara.

We have been building mobile products focused on Business, Photo & Video, and Education categories in the App Store mainly for the US market since 2016. And in each of these categories, our goal is the same: provide actual value to people with the best mobile user experience.

We’re in an exciting period of growth and are looking for exceptional QA Tester - Intern who will help us shape the future of mobile.

What we are looking for:

• 3rd or 4th-year student in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Interest in software testing, quality assurance, and automation
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools
• Basic knowledge of test case creation and execution
• Willingness to learn and improve test automation skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to work part-time at least 3 days a week for a long-term
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers and product managers.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Assisting in manual and automated testing of mobile applications
• Writing, executing, and maintaining test cases
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking software bugs
• Working closely with developers to ensure high-quality product releases
• Learning and applying best practices in software testing
• Supporting the QA team in improving testing processes
