Quality & Assurance Analyst - Arabic

We are looking for colleague to work for our International News Quality and Assurance Department as the Quality & Assurance Analyst in Istanbul.

Job Description

• Monitor TRT World channel 7 days 24 hours in 3 shifts,
• Check every content as visual and editorial,
• Make sure that all of produced video materials, news content and programs are suitable with TRT World’s editorial guidelines and values,
• Analyze the news content and report in several formats,
• The role may require shift work including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written Arabic proficiency at the native level are required,
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, preferably ability to understand written and spoken Turkish,
• Ability to comprehend written/oral English or Turkish,
• Knowledge of Turkish politics, culture, history,
• Ability to effectively handle multi-task assignments under pressure and deadlines,
• Flexibility to adapt to shifting shift work and a fast-paced work environment,
• Ability to work efficiently and in cooperation with team members,
• Ability to write accurate journalistic headlines, summaries and enthusiasm for coverage of the news,
• Experience in editorial work and broadcast/visual media,
• Having experience in data analysis and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access.
