Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and integrations that power our analytics and operational systems. We are looking for a problem-solver with a strong foundation in SQL, Python, and data integration.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure the security and integrity of software applications
• Develop, test, and deploy database applications in enabling function domain
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and integration testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug software errors.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other team members
• Contribute to project planning, estimation, and progress tracking
• Create and maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and procedures
• Handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Capabilities

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), a similar technical field of study,
• At least 5+ years work experience in Python
• Deep understanding of multi-process (define, design, and create) cloud architecture projects and the threading limitations of Python
• Hands-on experience in data integration from multiple sources and databases
• Integrate data to turn them into insights to drive better and faster decision-making
• Work on existing databases to enhance functionality
• Manage and create documentation for tools, strategies, and data pipelines
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis in finance actual reporting, product/customer profitability, financial planning, or similar fields. 1-3 years of experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited time frames.
• Experience on data analytics tools i.e., SQL, data visualization on Tableau, Power BI or similar.
• Experience with at least one of SQL database like MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL is required.
• Ability to lead through collaboration with effective stakeholder management.
• Be able to work effectively with a wide range of teams — from business leaders to delivery teams, driving product success with lean and agile methodologies.
• Strong entrepreneurial perspective, innovative with experience in delivering results in uncertain environment.
• Influences and effectively communicates the purpose, product goals and objectives and priorities with all stakeholders that builds support, agreement, and commitment.
