We are seeking a talented and motivated IT & Network Specialist with strong expertise in bothWindows and Linux environments to support, maintain, and enhance our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing servers, networks, cybersecurity, end-user support, and cloud-based services while ensuring high availability, security, and operational efficiency across the organization.

This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who enjoys working with diverse technologies and taking ownership of critical infrastructure systems.

Position Summary

The IT & Network Specialist will be responsible for the administration of Windows and Linux servers, enterprise networks, cybersecurity controls, cloud services, virtualization platforms, and technical support operations. The role requires a hands-on professional capable of troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing reliable IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Administration

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, file services, and user access controls.
• Administer Linux services including web servers, application servers, databases, and monitoring tools.
• Perform system updates, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery activities.
• Monitor server performance and optimize system availability.

Network Administration

• Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
• Manage switches, routers, firewalls, and network security devices.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance, and security issues.
• Monitor network health and recommend infrastructure improvements.
• Support remote access solutions and branch office connectivity.

Cybersecurity

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor security alerts, logs, and incidents.
• Manage endpoint protection, firewall policies, and access management.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
• Assist with business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

End-User & Technical Support

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for hardware, software, network, and server-related issues.
• Support Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, and business applications.
• Manage IT assets and software licensing.
• Prepare technical documentation and user guides.

Cloud & Virtualization

• Support cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Manage virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, or KVM.
• Assist in cloud migration and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Support hybrid IT environments.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or systems administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with both Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Experience managing enterprise network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and security best practices.
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
