Founded in 1955 with MİTAŞ Madeni İnşaat İşleri Türk A.Ş., MİTAŞ Group has grown into a global player operating in the energy, telecommunications, lighting, defense, and chemical industries through its group companies.
The candidate will be appointed as the IT Manager within MİTAŞ Industry, a group company engaged in the design and manufacturing of steel construction products for the energy sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Management Information Systems, Electronics, or a related field,
- Proven experience in IT management roles, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience,
- Deep expertise in IT Service Management, System Network and Infrastructure Management, Virtualization, Cloud Systems, IoT Devices, VoIP Cisco Call Management, IT Project Management and Enterprise Operations,
- Very well organized and comfortable working in a multi-tasking project-oriented environment,
- Broad knowledge and experience in major systems, networking & communication equipment, applications and hardware appliances,
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft Windows Server and related services, Microsoft Systems Administration/System Engineer certification will be an asset,
- Good knowledge in legal regulations and international information security standards such as KVKK and ISO 27001 certification processes,
- Experience in designing, developing, and managing virtual systems such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware,
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 Business Azure, and other relevant infrastructures,
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory setup and management, PowerShell, and CMD,
- Deep knowledge in DHCP, DNS, IIS, VPN, MPLS and other core roles and services,
- Experience in server, storage and backup products,
- Experience in the installation and management of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), routers, switches and firewall systems,
- Experience in taking and auditing in-house security measures with cyber security solutions such as NAC, SIEM, DLP, EDR/XDR,
- Expertise in end-user services, proficient management of help desk teams and experience with Manage Engine tools is preferable,
- Ability to communicate effectively in English,
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills,
- Analytical mind and research orientation,
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Job Description
- Strategic planning and execution of IT initiatives to align with organizational goals,
- Leading IT Department for daily tasks and make sure all systems in order,
- Managing the data center infrastructure and ensuring its security,
- Overseeing the registration, configuration, and installation of hardware and software components,
- Monitoring and maintaining the performance of Microsoft Windows Server, Hyper-V, or VMware platforms,
- Implementing and managing disaster, backup and monitoring systems,
- Handling incident and emergency management procedures,
- Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining server operating systems, applications, hardware, and system management tools,
- Collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors to monitor and improve service and application performance,
- Enforcing security standards and policies across infrastructure and systems,
- Implementing architectural changes to enhance the security of existing systems,
- Developing strategies to mitigate the impact of incidents on business continuity and preparing contingency plans,
- Ability to create yearly budgets and manage financial aspects related to IT projects.
