Business Intelligence Analyst

At ESFA Grup, we are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Technology Team and contribute to the continuous development of our data, reporting, and technology solutions.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of business needs, data, and technology. You will collaborate with internal business units, brand partners, and technical teams to understand evolving needs, enhance reporting solutions, translate business requirements into actionable development plans, and ensure the successful delivery of reporting and technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with business understanding, stakeholder communication, and disciplined project follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the Technology Team in relevant meetings and project discussions with internal business units, brand partners, and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and analyze reporting, data analytics, and system development requirements.
• Evaluate existing reports and dashboards from a business needs, usability, and data effectiveness perspective, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Proactively develop recommendations for new reporting dimensions, KPIs, analytical perspectives, and dashboard enhancements based on evolving business needs and available data.
• Translate business requirements into clear and structured functional requirements, business rules, user scenarios, and acceptance criteria for technical teams.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and software development, data, integration, and reporting teams.
• Coordinate and closely follow the progress of reporting and technology projects, including scope, priorities, actions, dependencies, risks, and timelines.
• Ensure that development processes progress in line with agreed business requirements and project plans.
• Evaluate developed reports, dashboards, and system functionalities against defined business requirements and coordinate User Acceptance Testing processes.
• Identify improvement areas related to data quality, reporting consistency, and user experience, and coordinate resolution processes with relevant teams.
• Contribute to the analysis and definition of data, reporting, and technology requirements during new brand onboarding and new project launches.
• Participate in relevant meetings with brand partners, understand their reporting and technology needs, and coordinate the internal solution process.
• Communicate ESFA’s reporting, data analytics, and technology capabilities clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Gather and evaluate user feedback and changing business requirements to support the continuous development of existing reporting and technology solutions.
• Identify efficiency and automation opportunities within business and reporting processes and contribute to the development of improvement initiatives.
• Maintain clear and structured follow-up of project decisions, open actions, risks, and next steps, ensuring effective communication among all relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Business Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Professional experience in Business Intelligence, business analysis, data analytics, reporting, or technology-driven projects.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar Business Intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational data structures.
• General understanding of software development lifecycles, data flows, APIs, and system integrations.
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into clear, structured, and actionable requirements for technical teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, understand reporting structures, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ability to contribute new perspectives and recommendations to existing reports, dashboards, and analytical structures.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technology and data solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Confidence in representing the Technology Team in meetings with internal teams, brand partners, and other external stakeholders.
• Strong project coordination and follow-up skills, with a high level of ownership regarding actions, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, development-oriented, and highly organized working approach.
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, marketplace operations, or technology environments is considered a plus.
