A global telecommunications vendor’s Türkiye Representative Office in Istanbul is looking for aDatacom Network Pre-Sales Engineer (Junior) who is interested indata communication technologies such asrouters, switches, and wireless access points. This role is a great opportunity for candidates who want to build their career innetwork solution design andtechnical pre-sales.

2. Responsibilities

• Support the presales team in providing technical support fordata communication products and solutions, includingrouting & switching,enterprise campus networks,data center networks, andwireless solutions.

• Assist in preparing technical proposals, solution documents, andtechnical sections of bidding documents in collaboration with thesales team.

• Support the design of basic network solutions for customer scenarios such asenterprise campus networks andsmall to medium-sized data centers.

• Help prepare network topology diagrams, product configuration lists, andtechnical documentation.

• Participate in customer meetings, workshops, andproduct demonstrations together withsenior presales engineers.

• Assist in Proof of Concept (PoC) testing and lab demonstrations to showcasedata communication products.

• Learn and follow new trends in data communication technologies such asSDN (Software Defined Networking),cloud networking, andAI-driven networks.

• Provide technical support to the sales team during project discussions and customer engagements.

3. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering,Telecommunications,Electronics Engineering, or related fields.

• 0–3 years of experience in networking, presales, or technical support roles (new graduates with strongnetworking knowledge are also welcome).

• Basic understanding of data communication technologies such asrouting (OSPF, BGP),switching (VLAN, STP), andTCP/IP networking.

• Familiarity with network devices such as routers,switches, andwireless access points.

• Knowledge of data center networking concepts (e.g., Spine-Leaf architecture) and SDN is a plus.

• Certifications such as HCIA, HCIP, CCNA, or CCNP are considered an advantage.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise in networking technologies.

• Ability to work in a team environment and support customer-oriented projects.

• Good command of English.
