What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Lead – Data Governance to join our Data Governance team at Information Technologies Directorate

• Work with data owners to ensure the data policy compliance,
• Execution of data governance processes in data domains,
• Act as a facilitator across the enterprise for achieving a mind shift on data culture,
• Work with business units and data scientists to ideate analytics projects,
• Coordinate analytical model demand management and prioritization processes,
• Monitor and support compliance of analytical model lifecycle activities to the analytics governance standards,
• Assure Data-Process alignment within data domains,
• Establishment, follow-up and quality assurance activities of policies, standards and metrics related to data quality,
• Monitor and coordinate the projects related to data quality,
• Identification of data quality problems, suggestions for improvement and follow-up of the improvement process,
• Coordination of stakeholders of data domains and resolution of data issues, escalation where necessary,
• Analyze, design and maintain software solutions to meet data and analytics governance needs such as metadata management, data quality management, data life cycle management etc.

The position is located in İstanbul, Sütlüce.

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor's degree from Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, MIS and Business Engineering,
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience,
• Experience at least 2 years in data governance, data quality management, metadata management, master data management, data architecture, data warehousing, business intelligence tools,
• Knowledge and experience in manufacturing & retail processes is a plus.
• Acquire the role of a trusted advisor inside the organization,
• Very good written and spoken communication skills, strong business acumen and presentation skills, ability to think freely and innovatively, strong cultural awareness,
• Proven ability to work with project and senior management level, ability to communicate to C-Level,
• Experienced in reporting, data analysis and data quality management,
• Experienced in process management,
• Experienced in metric development, dashboard design and automation with data management tools,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Thinking broadly about business,
• Understanding the needs of the market & customers,
• Having the desire to do outstanding jobs,
• Recognizing and understanding the emotions of other people,
• Listening to different perspectives and showing flexibility,
• Building collaboration,
• Clear in communicating thoughts and ideas,
