About the Role

• Karbontürk is seeking a Senior AI/IT Systems Engineer with deep experience in RAG, LLM integration, ERP, and SCADA systems.
• This role will architect, build, and optimize our AI-driven technology infrastructure and integrate it seamlessly with all enterprise systems.
• This position is based at our Ataşehir, İstanbul Headquarters. Candidates must be residing in İstanbul or willing to relocate.

Required Experience

• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) Systems
• Vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, FAISS, etc.)
• Embedding models
• Document ingestion pipelines (PDF, Excel, P&ID, COA, SOP)

LLM Integration

• Azure OpenAI / OpenAI / Anthropic API experience
• Real project development with GPT-4 / GPT-4.1
• LangChain or LlamaIndex experience
• ERP Integration

Logo ERP

• API/Database integration
• Knowledge of Logo data structures (customers, stock, production, accounting modules)
• Ability to feed ERP data into AI systems

SCADA Experience

• SCADA experience in industrial plants
• OPC / Modbus familiarity
• Ability to retrieve operational/process data and build middleware/API connections
• Experience with furnace, process control, N²/steam lines data

API & Microservice Development

• FastAPI / Node.js / Flask
• REST / GraphQL
• OAuth2 / JWT
• Cloud & DevOps

Azure or AWS

• VM, Storage, Network
• Docker / Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipelines
   

Data Security

• RBAC
• IAM
• Encryption
• Network segmentation
• ISO 27001 understanding

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize the company’s AI & automation infrastructure
• Implement RAG + Vector DB + LLM architectures
• Integrate ERP (Logo), SCADA, QC/LIMS, and production systems
• Create document ingestion pipelines (COA, P&ID, phase reports)
• Build APIs and microservices for all departments
• Develop internal web-based user interfaces
• Manage data security and access governance
• Prepare technical documentation
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, QC, Production, Sales, and Management
• Monitor system performance and generate reports
• Lead versioning and iterative development of AI systems

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• SCOTT ERP integration
• LIMS/QC software integration
• IT/OT experience in industrial environments
• ISO 9001/14001 data structures
• MLOps (major advantage)
