Currently, we are looking for candidates for Senior Cloud Data Engineer role:

Job Description

• Responsible for designing, building, and managing data infrastructure and pipelines in Azure and Databricks
• Secure implementation of automated workflows and routines with Azure Data Factory
• Creation of data models in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Services and Databricks
• Creation of data queries and data visualization
• Take over responsibility for tasks in customer projects
• Preparation and moderation of customer workshops

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) is required.
• Knowledge of German is considered a strong plus.
• Comprehensive knowledge and in-depth understanding of the Azure technology stack and Databricks
• In-depth experience working with data pipelines and data modeling
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and Python
• Knowledge of data encryption and security
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Teamwork as well as independent working
• Understanding of business requirements and the ability to translate these into technical solutions
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and monitoring of cloud products
• Know-how regarding data warehouse architecture and big data integration
• Willingness to travel if required by the customer
