Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for our Vadistanbul office. You will be developing real-value features for a one-of-a-kind digital fashion workspace.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and deployment of web applications tailored for both internal and external stakeholders
- Architect and engineer innovative products, enhancing existing features, and refining our codebase
- Design and code commercial web applications based on component-centric product designs
- Expand and optimize the capabilities of our current component suite
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into engaging, user-centric interfaces
- Collaborate extensively with frontend and backend teams to build products featuring responsive designs
- Compose thorough tests and documentation for ongoing and future projects
- Engage in code reviews and team discussions to adopt and define best practices
- Mentor junior developers and guide the team in frontend development standards and practices
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- 5+ years of experience in building frontend interfaces for commercial web applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Proficient in React, and adept with web standards and protocols such as JavaScript & ES6, HTML, CSS, HTTP
- Proven track record in building commercial applications utilizing React.js, ES6, React Hooks, Redux, Tailwind, etc.
- Proficiency in working with GraphQL and Rest APIs
- Well-versed in responsive design principles and ensuring cross-browser compatibility
- Commitment to writing clean, well-documented code
- Prior experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Contentful, etc. is advantageous
- Familiarity with JavaScript tooling (Vite, Webpack, Eslint, etc.) is beneficial
- Expertise in unit/integration testing, mocking, and creating testable code
- Proficiency with Git, including branching and merging strategies
- A detail-oriented approach with a passion for delivering seamless user experiences
- Understanding of UI/UX best practices is advantageous
- Background in web development for data-driven products is a plus
- Desirable skills include TypeScript, Next.js, SEO principles, and CI/CD processes
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus
