Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network & Systems Engineer to join our team in Usak. This role requires a highly independent professional with strong technical expertise in both network and systems administration. The candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure, including network devices, servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud services. The Network & Systems Engineer will report directly to the Infrastructure Manager based in Belgium.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure (switches, routers, cabling systems).
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers, including patching and performance tuning.
- Manage virtualization platforms and ensure high availability.
- Support cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and hybrid integrations.
- Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Maintain Active Directory, identity management, and group policies.
- Ensure security compliance across network and systems components.
- Collaborate with IT teams across multiple sites (Turkey, Belgium, USA) to support global connectivity and infrastructure.
- Document configurations, changes, and maintenance activities for both network and systems.
- Provide on-site support for infrastructure-related projects and upgrades.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in network and systems engineering
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and architectures.
- Expertise in switching, routing, and structured cabling.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware and troubleshooting tools.
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux server administration and virtualization platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud services (Azure/AWS) and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in Turkish & English (written and spoken).
- Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Networks, or a related discipline.
