Job Description
On behalf of Huawei, we are seeking a Technical Support Engineer (Data Center / Infrastructure) to support nationwide data center operations, hardware deployment, and customer acceptance processes. This role involves hands-on infrastructure implementation, system integration, and direct customer engagement to ensure successful delivery, testing, and go-live of telecom and IT infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Hardware installation and IP configuration in data center environments
- Mid-level hardware troubleshooting and component replacement (Disk, RAID/Disk Cards, Network Cards, Memory, PSU)
- Preparation of LLD (Low-Level Design) documentation
- Conducting Site Surveys and evaluating data-room conditions and availability
- Managing hardware User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes
- Presenting system upgrades, patches, and deployments to customers for approval
- Reporting defects, performing troubleshooting, log tracing, and regression testing
- Providing night operation support during go-live activities
- Performing service checks and configuration verification in test and production environments
- Working closely with customers to understand requirements and ensure successful UAT execution
- Creating yearly budget assumptions
- Managing Purchase Orders (PO)
- Ensuring basic EHS compliance (training will be provided)
- Documentation management, document scanning and archiving
- Developing alternative technical solutions when required
- Business travel across Turkey
Required Technical Qualifications
- Good command of Unix/Linux terminal commands
- General knowledge of database systems and SQL queries
- Basic server network operations knowledge
- Familiarity with Ethernet/Bond structures, routing concepts, whitelist/blacklist implementations
- Experience with firmware updates
- Understanding of server infrastructure environments
